Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join the Float Pool on the Night Shift at UAB St Vincent's Birmingham. You will provide direct patient care, implement care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an Alabama RN license, BLS certification, a nursing diploma, and at least one year of experience. UAB Medicine offers comprehensive benefits and growth within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or transfer date.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required. One (1) year of nursing experience required.
