Job summary

Mercy is seeking an EP Lab Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts (7am-5:30pm) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The RN will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensure confidentiality, and coordinate with other departments.

Prior telemetry or ICU experience is preferred, and BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire. Education requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Preferred: 2+ years of Telemetry and/or ICU experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry and or ICU experience

• Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
