Job summary

Mercy is seeking an EP Lab Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process in a dedicated electrophysiology lab. This full-time day shift role (7am-5:30pm, four 10-hour shifts) includes a minimal call requirement and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Applicants should be graduates of an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license (state or compact), and have 2 years of telemetry/ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Minimum 2 years Telemetry or ICU experience.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry and or ICU experience

• Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
