Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced RN for our Endoscopy Department in Danville, PA. You will join a highly skilled team performing GI procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, bronchoscopy, and ERCP, delivering tertiary-level care in a community setting.

This full-time, 40-hour/week role features 10-hour shifts (6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), an on-call rotation with weekend/holiday coverage, and a competitive benefits package with tuition reimbursement and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Experience in pre- or post-procedural care is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during GI endoscopic procedures
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and conscious sedation
• Monitor patients during and after procedures
• Collect and prepare lab specimens
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
• Lead and support other clinic nurses and technicians
• Maintain and inspect medical equipment and supplies

Position Highlights:

About the Role:

As an RN in our Endoscopy Department, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team performing a wide range of procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, bronchoscopy, and ERCP. You’ll work alongside gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, nurses, technicians, and coordinators to deliver tertiary-level care in a community setting.
