Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Team in Bradenton, Florida. This role involves providing clinical expertise and ensuring patients receive high quality care in a procedural environment. Responsibilities include assessing and planning care of Endoscopy patients, assisting physicians with procedures, and maintaining patient records.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Florida RN, have a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and education support.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do

• You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Endoscopy patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• You will assist physicians in operative procedures.
• You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or an appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, an active FL RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Prior Endoscopy nursing experience highly preferred.
• National specialty board certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
