Job Overview

The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing contingencies and delegating tasks.

• Meets competencies in self-leadership, team leadership, and clinical standards.
• Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, addressing patients' physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administers medications, monitors effects, documents care, and educates patients and families.
• Ensures patient safety, adheres to policies, and maintains compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Demonstrates proficiency with health information systems, medical equipment, and order processing.
• Reads and interprets patient charts, recognizes safety issues, and reports incidents.
• Requires a BSN (preferred), RN license, BLS, and 1-year experience in a related specialty. Full-time, 5 days/week.
