Qualifications

• Active CT RN license.
• Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience preferred; candidates with 1.5 years may be considered with Level I trauma or travel experience.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required; TNS may be accepted as a TNCC substitute.
• Ability to provide emergency care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Experience with high-acuity emergency cases, including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, and critical care.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to high-acuity patients in a Level I Trauma ED.
• Work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) as part of a 4 x 12-hour schedule.
• Document care and patient data in EPIC.
• Potential to float to other campuses and ED observation unit as needed.
• Support a fast-paced ED environment with a 1:6 patient ratio.
