Position Overview

The RN Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to a designated group of patients during their shift. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role involves supervising support staff, maintaining documentation, and adhering to safety and legal standards.

Shift and Schedule

  • Shift: Nights (7p-7a)
  • FTE: 0.6
  • Weekends: Yes

Qualifications

  • Michigan Registered Professional Nurse licensure required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience in emergency or specialty care preferred.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications preferred, with specific timelines for obtaining them after hire.
