Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification. Licensure in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Telehealth/tele nursing eligibility per state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans while collaborating with the care team.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care needs.
