DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
The Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake & SLU provides a full range of heart healthcare and prevention services including general cardiology, cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia management and electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart services, advanced heart failure management, heart transplant and ventricular assist devices (VADs), adult congenital heart disease management, cardiac psychiatry, cardiovascular genetics and other advanced services.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Float between different Sub-Specialties of the clinic and our Echo procedural area. Some of the sub-specialties include Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Advanced Heart Failure, Aortopathy/Marfan, Cardiac Surgery, Cardio-genetics, Cardio-oncology, Complex Coronary, Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, Mechanical Circulatory System (Ventricular Assist Device), and Structural Heart Services
Will float between UWMC-Montlake and South Lake Union clinics.
Managing the patient undergoing different Echocardiogram and Stress tests and doing Definity and Bubble Studies as indicated
Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, surgeons, interventionalists, other sub-specialty nurses, advanced practice providers, research team, and administrative staff to coordinate, support, and optimize the medical care of our complex patient population

REQUIREMENTS:
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
At least 2 years of inpatient or outpatient cardiology/telemetry experience
Current BLS & ACLS
