Job summary

BayCare Health System’s Winter Haven Hospital is seeking a PRN/Pool Registered Nurse for the PACU, delivering care using the nursing process and maintaining professional accountability.

The role requires 18 months RN experience, BLS, ACLS, and a FL RN license, with PACU/ICU exposure preferred. Shift 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, days, on site in Winter Haven.

Qualifications

• Minimum RN qualifications with required licenses and certifications.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required as stated.

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a PRN/Pool Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate PACU team at Winter Haven Hospital .

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification is required
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

18 months of RN experience is required.

1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care and/or emergency is preferred
