SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Registered Nurse-Clinic Manager will serve as the expert professional nurse, guiding a team comprised of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, across multiple offices of PSHMG Andrews Patel. The RN Clinic Manager will oversee the education, training, and mentoring of their nursing staff as well as evaluating competencies and creating designated staff scheduling.

Functioning as the Subject Matter Expert of the QOPI (Quality Oncology Practice Initiative) standards, the RN Clinic Manager will be expected to adhere to their protocol and instruct/train staff on standard operating procedures. With primary oversight of the Infusion floor, the RN Clinic Manager will ensure the efficiency and safety of both the patients and staff within. In the absence of the RN Clinical Supervisor, the RN Clinic Manager will step in to assume the daily responsibilities of the RNCS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Five (5) years of RN experience required. Oncology and/or Infusion experience required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) is required prior to completion of orientation.
  • May require certification in specialty area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Prior Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Membership in professional and leadership organizations preferred.
