Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Burn Unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations. Work with management to monitor nursing care per hospital policies and serve as a resource for staff.

You will partner with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes, assist with admissions/discharges, coach staff, and support staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff to improve performance and engagement.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 3 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Registered Nurse
