Mount Carmel St. Ann’s CVPCU is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a 30-bed unit. The RN will manage NSTEMI/post-STEMI patients, monitor respiratory status, and support post-cath and ACS care within a collaborative nursing team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, documentation accuracy, and adherence to Nursing Process standards under Ohio law. Night shifts offer opportunities for growth in a strong work-life culture.

Qualifikationen

Registered Nurse RN

Position Purpose:

The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s has 30 beds, with space to accommodate between 6-9 progressive care patients. The Registered Nurse could expect to see patients related to NSTEMI and post STEMI/cardiac arrest, post-cardiac cath and acute coronary syndrome, AAA repair, atrial fibrillation, amputations, and femoral-popliteal bypass. The RN will also care for patients in diabetic ketoacidosis and acute respiratory failure on Bipap or AirVo. This unit offers a strong, welcoming teamwork environment. An RN would have many amazing opportunities to learn and grow their nursing knowledge with both intermediate and progressive care patient populations. The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse RN, collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

What you will do:

• Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence based practice. Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational components.
• Accurately communicates pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner. Keeps patient/family apprised/updated.
• Documents accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures and/or guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed care givers as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
