This RN Administrative Supervisor role involves supervisory and management responsibilities within the nursing department, and in the absence of other administrative staff, overseeing overall hospital functions.
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients. This role leads the nursing team in providing care as directed by physicians and in collaboration with other healthcare providers, adhering to the philosophy and policies of ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals. The nurse actively fosters an environment of patient, family, physician, and employee satisfaction, making decisions based on patient-centered care, evidence-based practices, safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to individuals and groups, requiring knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The nurse operates within the full scope of practice defined by the Board of Nursing in their practicing state, complying with hospital accreditation standards.
