Description

Compensation: Pay Range: $28.38 - $46.17 / hour
- $20,000 new hire sign-on bonus (Full-Time PM Only, when applicable)
- $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus (Full-Time only)

Shifts Available:

  • Part-Time PM: 2 12-hour shifts per week

Job Description:

To utilize the nursing process to care for and counsel individuals in health promotion, illness prevention, and injury prevention. Employ a systematic critical-thinking approach for data gathering, assessment, judgment, intervention, and evaluation of human responses to health issues. Activities include health teaching, counseling, and providing supportive and restorative care, including end-of-life support. Identify patient needs using the AACN Synergy Model. Delegate, coordinate, and manage all aspects of nursing care for patients, their families, and the community in a timely and cost-effective manner. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, including licensed physicians, psychologists, podiatrists, and dentists.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. ACLS and PALS certifications may be required depending on the unit/department.
