RN, Registered Nurse - Acute MedSurgical A

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional care focused on patient comfort and well-being, including assisting physicians, administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.

Responsibilities include observing patient conditions, maintaining records, and participating in care planning as a primary nurse, team member, or leader. Ensures safe aseptic procedures and offers leadership to support staff.

This role is based on a 27-bed fast-paced cardiac unit caring for post-intervention patients, including those with heart failure, MI, pre-CABG, and vascular issues. We also handle cardiac drips and medical-surgical overflow.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, 1-year experience preferred, current Texas RN license, CPR, ACLS (within 6 months), and EKG certification (within 90 days).
