AdventHealth in Orlando is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN shift within a faith-based health care system focused on extending the healing ministry of Christ. The role emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.

You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate families, collaborate with the care team, and document outcomes in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.
