Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing objectives and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns to meet resident needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinate staff.
• Participates in duty assignments and task coordination.
• Oversees subordinate staff activities and performance.
• Evaluates staff performance and conducts disciplinary actions when needed.
• Monitors infection control compliance and safety.
• Investigates accidents/incidents and documents outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
