Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains in West Plains, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care within our family-oriented SNF team. You will work with an interdisciplinary care team to assess patients and plan care, while maintaining open communication with patients and families.

The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, and a positive team player who can supervise LPNs and other nursing staff, administer medications and treatments, and support quality, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be a Missouri-licensed RN.
• Caring, compassionate and a positive team player.
• Experience in SNF/Matrix settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for patient assessment and care planning.
• Maintain open communication with patients and families about care.
• Ensure nursing care is provided and supervise LPNs and other nursing staff.
• Assist with medications and treatments as required.
• Perform other patient care duties as assigned.

NHC HealthCare West Plains is looking for an RN to join our team to provide compassionate care to our patients. At NHC HealthCare West Plains you will find great teamwork, good communication, & wonderful people!! Our facility is located about 45 minutes from the Arkansas border. West Plains considers itself the heart of the Ozarks and is the largest city within 100 miles of south central Missouri.

The ideal Registered Nurse candidate is caring, compassionate, has a positive attitude and is a team player. Responsibilities include working with the interdisciplinary care team to assure accurate patient assessment and plan of care; maintaining open and ongoing communication with patients and families; assuring that appropriate nursing care is provided; assisting with medications and treatments; supervising LPNs and other nursing partners; and performing other patient care duties as assigned.
