Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to uphold high standards of resident care in a clean, safe environment. The role includes developing care plans, collaborating with physicians and therapists, and ensuring accurate medication administration.

The RN will monitor staff, enforce safety regulations, follow nursing equipment procedures, and perform related duties as needed to support residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community.
• Desire to care for residents and act with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develop and ensure nursing care plan; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Make nursing diagnoses to guide care strategy.
• Collaborate with residents and health-care team.
• Record administration of medication.
• Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations and procedures are followed.
• Follow procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
• SNF/LTC experience preferred
