Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ocala Cancer Center to support physicians in patient care and education. You will contribute to high-quality cancer care delivery across our oncology clinics.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, IV therapy experience, strong clinical judgment, and CPR/BLS certification. Travel to regional clinics may be required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of residence (Florida).
• Experience with IV therapy.
• Ability to assess patient needs and conditions.
• Strong critical thinking and calm decision-making in emergencies.
• Current CPR certification; BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Fluency in English; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology in clinic or hospital is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.

• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.

• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

• Current CPR certification.

• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).

• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.

• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
