Job summary

The Parker Jewish Institute in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Nursing team in our skilled nursing facility. We welcome compassionate RNs who focus on quality of life, safety, and respectful interactions with residents, families and staff.

The RN will coordinate and implement resident care on assigned units, supervise CNAs and LPNs, and contribute to an environment of collaboration, ongoing training, and patient-centered care with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• NYS RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience with geriatric populations is a plus; newly licensed RNs are welcome.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Friendly, sociable with strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Now Hiring for Full-Time positions on the Evening Shift (3:00pm-11:15pm)

The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Nursing team in our skilled nursing facility. We want to speak with naturally caring, empathetic RNs who are focused on providing the best quality of life possible for every patient in their care, with patience, courteousness and tactful interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors.

RNs at Parker Jewish Institute are responsible for the coordination and implementation of resident care on assigned units, supervising CNAs and LPNs and providing outstanding patient-centered care. Position Requirements

• Current and valid NYS RN license and current BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population a plus; we hire newly licensed RNs!
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing
