Job summary

Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead resident care and supervise LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs, ensuring alignment with physician orders.

You will oversee care plans, administer medications, IVs and treatments, and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards, while supporting a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Current State RN licensure.
• A minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Skilled in directing, motivating and training staff; able to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess resident care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Interview applicants, recommend hires; participate in counseling as permitted by law.
• Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans; assess and document resident's condition and nursing needs; assign team members who have the capabilities and qualifications to meet resident's needs.
• Implement physicians' orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations
• Additional duties as assigned.
