Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System in Houston is seeking a qualified In-Patient Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in the Houston area. The RN will be part of an interdisciplinary care team, focusing on admissions, assessments, discharges and pronouncements.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, has 1+ year of RN experience ( Hospice or Home Health preferred ), and demonstrates strong communication. A clean background and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Clean background and drug screen.

Job Description

The in-patient RNis an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team and as such is responsible for admitting and coordinating appropriate care for each patient and family. The RN main job duties include and are not limited to;admissions, assessments, discharges and pronouncements.
