• Location: Inpatient Mental Health Facility, Butner, NC
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Shifts Available: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Every other weekend required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical and mental health.
• Medication Management: Administer psychiatric medications and monitor patient responses.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement therapeutic techniques, including individual counseling and crisis intervention.
• Care Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Safety Management: Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and incident reports.

Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing from an accredited university

Active NC nursing license in good standing

Experience In Mental Health Nursing Preferred But Not Required
