Position Description: RN – Registered Charge Nurse
Facility: BayCare Health System, St. Joseph’s Hospital – Cardiac Medical PCU unit (St. Joseph’s Hospital, Tampa, FL). This unit cares for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, MI, congestive heart failure overflow, and all pre/post cardiac procedures, except open heart surgery.

Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Shift: Days

Certifications and Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
ACLS Certification if required by department
RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.
Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education:
Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS in a healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion
Experience:
2 years of RN experience is required
1 year of leadership experience is preferred
