  6. Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA
  7. Midlands Hospital - Papillion

Responsibilities

Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

May be eligible for up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance

This Regional Float position will support our PCU departments.

The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. Provides services which encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care of the sick, prevention of disease, or conservation of health. The position contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health. Floats to different campuses depending on need.

  • Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
  • Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Provide care for patients upon admission to our Hospitals.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely.
  • Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated.
  • Keep up with Physician orders.
  • Have Fun!

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an RN nursing program.
  • Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
  • Basic life support is required upon hire.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
  • Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
  • Ability to travel to multiple facilities as needed on short notice.
  • 2 years of experience preferred.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
