Job summary

Summit BHC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the St. Gregory Recovery Center in Iowa. This full-time position offers a $20K sign-on bonus and competitive base pay of $40-47 per hour, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ nursing experience within clinical area of service preferred.
• Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within an acute psychiatric setting.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and behavioral health needs of clients.
• Administer medications correctly and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate changes in client status to providers promptly.

Skills

Knowledge of psychotropic medications

Medication administration procedures

Behavioral health experience

Client assessment skills

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Certified in Psychiatric Nursing (preferred)

Tools

CPR certification

First aid certification (as required)
