Job summary

Providence is seeking an Acute Care RN for the Recovery PACU at Lubbock Heritage Hospital, onsite daily. Eligible rehires/external hires may receive an $8,000 sign-on bonus; weekend/holiday shifts and full-time status are available.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Join a team focused on patient-centered care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.
• Provide safe, therapeutic, and efficient care aligned with department standards.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Texas Registered Nurse License

BLS - American Heart Association

ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

The RN independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.
