Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Lubbock, TX, is seeking an Acute Care RN for the Recovery PACU to deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced post-anesthesia setting.

The RN will follow the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while collaborating with the perioperative team and accepting weekend/holiday shifts as needed. Onsite employment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire:
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire:
• 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate patient care.
• Care for a group of patients in Recovery PACU.
• Collaborates with perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient care.

Acute Care RN - RECOVERY PACU HOSPITAL

$8,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The RN independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care.
