Job summary

AdventHealth in Columbus, North Carolina, seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for daytime shifts. You will adhere to infection control standards, provide patient education, and administer treatments with a focus on neonatal to geriatric care. Growth through the Clinical Ladder is available.

Qualifications

Excellent customer care service [Required]
Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology [Required]
Knowledge of pharmaceutical administration and its effects [Required]
BLS and ACLS [Required]
EKG [Required]
Basic computer skills including EMHR (Cerner) proficiency [Required]
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing [Required]

Responsibilities

Adheres to infection control standards and uses PPE and disinfectants.
Assists with data collection for process improvement projects.
Completes required education and attends department meetings.
Provides patient education on planned or spontaneous basis.
Assesses patients across age groups and develops care plans.
Administers treatments and medications and verifies physician orders.
Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and supports ladder program requirements.
