Northside Hospital is recruiting a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in Georgia, following physician orders and established guidelines. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program and holds an active Georgia RN license in good standing, with BLS certification required.

Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other unit-specific certifications are a plus, with strong clinical skills and color vision as

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities, License Or Certification Required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Knowledge Skills And Abilities/License Or Certification Preferred

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
