Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking an RN Quality Improvement Specialist to lead quality assurance, performance improvement, and data reporting across the organization to enhance client care and compliance.

In collaboration with leadership, you will monitor regulatory standards, promote evidence-based practices, analyze trends, and support corrective action planning to ensure survey readiness and ongoing compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred; RN licensure in MA required.
  • Minimum five years of nursing experience; home health, QA, regulatory compliance, accreditation, education, or performance improvement preferred.
  • Knowledge of home health regulations, Conditions of Participation, OASIS, QA and performance improvement principles.
  • Strong organizational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR, and data management systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, learn new software systems, and collaborate with leadership.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

At Northeast Arc, our mission is to help people with disabilities become full participants in their communities. The RN Quality Improvement Specialist plays an important role in making that possible. In this position, the RN Quality Improvement Specialist supports the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality assurance and performance improvement activities across the organization. The role is responsible for monitoring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and agency requirements while promoting evidence-based practices and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with leadership, the RN Quality Improvement Specialist collects, analyzes, and reports on data related to quality, client care, and compliance, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and supporting corrective action planning. This position also plays a key role in promoting survey readiness and ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, directly contributing to Northeast Arc's commitment to delivering quality services to those we support.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required, with experience in home health, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, accreditation, education, or performance improvement preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.

Knowledge of home health regulations, Conditions of Participation, OASIS, quality assurance, and performance improvement principles.

Strong organizational, critical-thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and data management systems.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, learn new software systems, and effectively collaborate with clinical and operational leadership.

Requires prolonged periods of sitting, telephone use, and review of electronic records. Infrequent light physical effort required.

Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment.
