Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks an RN with QAPI expertise to serve as the LTC QAPI Coordinator. You will lead quality improvement initiatives, coordinate regulatory readiness, and work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compliant resident care.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the Long-Term Care Administrator, data analysis of outcomes, and development of plans to correct deficiencies.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience monitoring quality and regulatory requirements, planning, and coordinating process changes.
• Demonstrated leadership in facilitating cross-functional teams and collaboration.
• Knowledge of accreditation requirements for healthcare systems including long-term care.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and quality improvement concepts.
• Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans and monitor outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Long-Term Care Administrator on QAPI objectives.
• Plan, organize, and direct quality assurance programs and activities.
• Lead projects, provide coaching, and coordinate with managers to integrate QAPI into operations.
• Assess performance, analyze outcome data, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop action plans to correct deficiencies and monitor follow-up procedures.
• Perform RCA with Risk Manager and maintain FRIs and Datix records.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to the Administrator regarding QAPI operations.
• Facilitate annual QAPI reviews and organize quality committee meetings.
