Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks an RN for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit to join a night shift team at Edward Main Hospital. The role is full-time (36 hours per week), with 7:00pm–7:30am shifts and rotating holidays, located in Naperville.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN or higher and at least 1 year of RN experience in an inpatient setting; the ADN path has a five-year bridge to a BSN. Illinois RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Employs critical thinking, assesses patients’ condition, plans and evaluates care, and documents observations.
• Delivers care as a team member to meet unit goals and ensures patient safety and comfort.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What You Will Need

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing

Required Education, Skills And/or Experience

What You Will Do

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
