Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license is required.
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with BSN completion within 5 years of hire date; grandfathering provisions may apply.
• Preferred: One year hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by promptly addressing patient requests and anticipated needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
