About Our Unit
Moss-Magee Rehab Frankford specializes in total hip or total knee replacements, amputees, cerebral vascular accidents, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions. It is a 12-bed comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation unit, with 5 two-bed rooms and 2 single rooms. Nursing care at Moss-Magee Rehab at Frankford is an essential part of the interdisciplinary healthcare delivery model, delivering care based on the Watson Theory of Human Caring. Our mission is to maintain a progressive professional environment that provides skilled physical intervention and psychosocial support through a collaborative approach, including interdisciplinary care, teaching, and discharge planning.
Moss-Magee Rehab at Aria Bucks County Campus primarily treats patients with similar diagnoses, including total joint replacements, amputations, strokes, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions. The care approach emphasizes interdisciplinary teamwork, continual learning, open communication, shared governance, and active nurse involvement in committees and organizational activities.

Schedule Commitment
Schedules are planned 6 weeks in advance. The position requires:
- Working twelve 8-hour shifts
- Working every third weekend
- Participating in one holiday per season
Responsibilities
As a registered nurse, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing patient procedures within the scope of nursing practice
- Administering medications safely and monitoring patient responses
- Participating in clinical pathway reviews and care coordination
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- BSN degree preferred
- Valid state-issued RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
