Job summary

Qualifications

• Work experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Assessment and referral experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments.
• Provides psychoeducation to groups, families, and individuals.
• Develops nursing-related programs as appropriate.
• Performs precertification and concurrent reviews on PHP patients.
• Tracks attendance, admissions and discharges for PHP patients.
• Participates in treatment planning and updates as needed.
• Coordinates with community agencies to establish mental health networks.
• Charts every session and maintains accurate patient records.
