Additional $6.00/hr. Safety Incentive Pay

Cell phone and/or smart devices are not allowed on persons for this position at MDC, unless documented medical condition exists.

Shift differentials include 17% on Weekday Nights, 26% on Weekend Nights, and 15% on Weekend Day shifts.

Minimum Offer: $32.84/hr.

Maximum Offer: $47.33/hr.

Compensation depends on experience, education, and organizational factors.

Full Time, Day Shift

Position Summary

Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients, develop care plans, and ensure adherence to policies. Patient age groups may include pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Assess mental health status and behavior
• Observe and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Educate patients and families
• Coordinate with healthcare team
• Follow safety protocols and participate in quality improvement

Qualifications

Education: Nursing program graduate, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: 1 year related experience; bilingual skills advantageous

Credentials: CPR/BLS, RN license in NM or reciprocal agreement, MDC clearance
