RN Psych Full Time Nights - Position Summary

This role provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role involves supervising staff to whom care is delegated, supporting the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining staff competency, and managing resources related to patient care.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.

Qualifications
Education
  • Required: Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
  • Preferred: An academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's).
Certifications
  • Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as mandated by law, regulation, or policy; CPR certification.
