RN Psych Full Time Nights Position Summary

Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE RN PSYCH FULL TIME NIGHTS POSITION:

Individuals must possess the ability to:

1. Perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
2. Provide care utilizing the nursing process.
3. Communicate effectively.

Minimum Licensure and Certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state of residence is required. If holding a license from another Compact state, applicants must obtain a Multi-State RN License from their state within 30 days. BLS certification is required. CPI certification is required within the orientation period.

Minimum Experience/Additional Certification: Previous clinical experience will be reviewed for acceptability. A BSN degree is preferred. Psychiatric/mental health nursing experience is preferred. RN-C certification is a plus.
