Description:Two levels of care for adults are provided.Adults come for a variety of mental health challenges.Some cases are more acute than others.The average length of stay is 5 to 7 days.Patients are admitted to one of the two units for treatment.The first unit treats adults with chronic mental illness in crisis.The second unit focuses on depression, anxiety, grief, and other psychological issues.Facilities are modern and secure, completed in 2015.Safety is a top priority in both units.Amenities include private and semi-private rooms, private bathrooms, and multiple activity rooms.Group rooms and a comfort room help patients relax.Outdoor recreation space is also available.Meals, snacks, and engaging activities are offered.A compassionate and caring team is available 24/7.The team consists of psychiatrists, therapists, psychiatric nurses, and behavioral health technicians.Groups focus on topics such as grief, loss, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse recovery.Patients learn effective coping skills to manage stress and mental illness.Art and music expression, as well as pet therapy, are incorporated into the treatment.Discharge planning involves a multi-disciplinary team.The team collaborates to ensure patients have the necessary resources for successful transition to the community.Discharge planners help connect patients to follow-up care and support.
