Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN - Psych for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, OH, working night shifts (3x12 hours). The role involves psychiatric care within a behavioral health setting, using trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques.

You will join an interdisciplinary team and manage patient safety, including restraints when necessary. Candidates must have an OH RN license, BLS, CPI, and Aegis certifications, Epic charting experience, and the ability to float to lower acuity units.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a behavioral health setting.
• Utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques.
• Work with patients with psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation.
• Be part of an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and social services.
• Manage patient safety and use restraints when necessary.
• Demonstrate proficiency in medication administration and crisis intervention.
• Weekend work is required and schedule flexibility is necessary.
• Provide two professional references, at least one from a leadership position.
