Job summary

The Beth Israel Lahey Health system is hiring per diem Med/Surg RNs to join our Massachusetts facilities. This per diem position offers varied hours/shifts aligned with operational needs and requires current MA RN license, BLS & ACLS, and telemetry competency within 90 days.

A strong candidate will have 2 years Med/Surg RN experience, recent PCU/SDU level care exposure, effective time management and communication skills, and a commitment to continuing education.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Massachusetts RN License
• Evidence of Continuing Education.
• 2years Med Surg RN experience required
• Recent PCU/SDU level of care experience required
• Current Telemetry experience or able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of beginning position.
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS Certification.
• Utilizes appropriate time management skills.
• Communicates effectively.

RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS:

• Documented Professional Developmental activities
• Knowledge of Critical Paths
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• BSN Preferred

As with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.

Pay Range: $37.14 - $76.08

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
