Seeking PCU RNs for Night shift in Lexington, KY!

Nights 36hrs

13 Weeks

Travelers only, including allowances: $2,412/gross weekly

The Progressive Care Unit RN, as a professional practitioner, assumes responsibility for delivering patient care to telemetry/progressive care patients. The PCU RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently with supervision. This individual employs critical thinking and performance ability in coordinating patient care, consistently performs according to nursing standards, and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. The PCU RN is also known as a step-down nurse, cardiac stepdown, neuro stepdown, surgical stepdown, or transition/intermediate unit nurse.

Minimum Requirements

• Current RN license for the practicing state
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred, including one year in a progressive care unit
• Current CPR certification
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• At least 18 years of age
