Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in education programs and assesses learning needs of patient and family.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate and plan care.
• Performs bedside care and monitoring per unit standards and patient needs.
• Supports professional growth and unit goals through leadership and teamwork.
• Assesses and prioritizes patient needs and discharge planning.
• Plans care with patient and family, utilizing multidisciplinary resources.
• Keeps abreast of research and applies findings to practice.
