Job summary

North Canyon Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to apply the nursing process, assess and plan care, and document patient outcomes. The RN ensures safe, high-quality care in alignment with hospital policies and Idaho Board of Nursing regulations.

The role may include charge nurse duties, supervising licensed and unlicensed staff, and coordinating care across departments and external providers to support patient health and healing.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to demonstrate and maintain clinical competency for assigned unit(s).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care per unit policies, ensuring safety and quality across patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; may serve as charge nurse when assigned.
