Summary of Job Duties:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) provides direct care, works with an interdisciplinary team, and leads nursing efforts to maintain patient care standards, under supervision of the Clinical Services Manager. Promotion depends on experience, performance, and recommendations.

PRI Inpatient Units include various specialized units and clinics.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Current RN license in Arkansas
• Strong communication, computer skills, work ethic, and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years RN experience
• Current BLS certification

Additional Information:

Must complete conflict management training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient data
• Develop and implement Plans of Care
• Evaluate patient progress
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
• Administer medications and provide drug information
• Support and resource for team members and students
• Perform other duties as assigned
