Supervision

The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units.

Physical Demands

• Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact; exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Ability to react quickly to emergencies; handle and administer narcotics as needed.
• Read, write and communicate orally and in writing with others.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., push and pull up to 250 lbs.
• Stand, walk, climb stairs, sit, squat, kneel, reach, bend, crawl, twist, and perform repetitive hand/foot motions.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
